- Is there a preference for using the exact formula for settling time versus the approximation Ts~4/(zeta*omega)? Or can we use whichever we please? Tjs25 04:09, 14 February 2011 (EST)
- Generally, the approximation is fine for damping ratios between 0 and 0.9. Above that, probably best to use the actual formula. DukeEgr93 12:52, 14 February 2011 (EST)
