This is a sandbox for making a virtual linux machine on Windows

  • Get an ISO for a Linux distribution (Ubuntu)
  • VirtualBox
  • Download Windows host
  • [1]
    • Give 2G ram; otherwise use defaults
    • When starting, point to ISO
