For this assignment, you will take a self-guided tour of MATLAB and will also get your Duke MATLAB account set up. Please note - you are *not* required to install MATLAB on your own computer; anything you need to do for this class can be done using MATLAB Online.

Creating An Account

Follow the first five steps of Associating a MathWorks account with the Duke License. That is, go through to the part where it logs you in to [https:www.mathworks.com www.mathworks.com] or you log yourself in. Once you have an account, you will be able to run MATLAB Online.

Introduction

MathWorks, the creators of MATLAB, have several tutorial videos and walk-throughs. The ones I would like you to go through today are at Getting Started

  • Watch the 10-minute introductory video on analyzing solar panel data
  • Launch the MATLAB Onramp - you will need to have your account set up for this.

Go through sections 1-10 (or more if you'd like!)
