** I personally have only used the terminal on windows 10.4; the bash thing seems a bit odd though. Are you on 10.4 or 10.5? + | *I also have a mac and I am using X11 to try and open up latex so I can edit my document, but I keep getting an error message that says "File /afs/acpub.duke.edu/users/1st letter/2nd letter/UserID/lab1.dvi does not exist" after I enter in "ls lab1" and then "kdvi lab1.dvi &" into X11. What and in what order do I need to type characters in order to open up Latex? |

- I have mac and i am having trouble connecting to the Latex program to do my lab. I loaded the program X11 from my OSX disk and when i open it the screen reads: bash-3.2$, and when i try and type in the code shown on the website: "xhost +
