This page contains instructions for TAs to get access to students' folders for a class. Here goes:

Instructions

  • For Windows:
    • File Explorer -> Computer menu -> Map Network Drive
      • Drive: Pick an unused letter (this example will use Z:)
      • Folder: \\homedir.oit.duke.edu\users\
        • If you logged in to the computer using your NetID, you can just Finish; if not, Connect Using Different Credentials. For Different Credentials, use WIN\NetID for the user name and your OIT password
  • For MAC:
    • Click on the Finder.
    • From the Go menu, choose Connect to Server... A dialog box appears.
    • Do the following:
