Favorite MATLAB Demonstration

My favorite MATLAB demonstration is the "Viewing a Penny" demonstration. I chose this demonstration because it is interesting to see how the penny is displayed in a contour plot and then how you can generate a pseudocolor plot and adjust the brightness to reflect the height of different parts of the penny. I also was not familiar with the Laplacian lighting model before, so it was interesting to learn about how that model works and how it was used to generate a pseudocolor and surface plot with a colormap.
