About Me
I'm a undergraduate freshman at Duke University, in the Trinity School of Arts and Sciences. I'm from just oustide of Richmond, Virginia. My favorite thing in the world to do is perform; I play the flute and piano, sing, dance, and do musical theatre productions.
Name Pronunciation
I'm Taylor Walls, often mistaken for Taylor Wall, Wallace, Walsh, Willis, etc., so it has become a habit of mine to spell my last name for whoever asks for it. I've heard "Taylor" pronounced in subtlely different ways, such as "TAIL-er" or "TAY-ler". I tend to use the latter. And my last name is simply "Wawls", as in the four walls that make up most rooms.
Favorite Matlab Demonstration
My favorite demonstration from Matlab is "Minsweeper"! I just learned how to play Minesweeper a couple of months ago, and ever since, I have been hooked. Not to toot my own horn, but playing a game with only 13 bombs is way too easy. I ran the demo, and won on my first try! I've made it past the intermediate level of 40 bombs, but have yet to dominate the advanced lever of 99 bombs. I'll get it some day soon!
