MatLab Exploration
When I completed the MatLab Help and Demonstrations assignment, I found the computing power that MatLab enables amazing. In particular, the graphical outputs that MatLab made from massive and not-so-massive matrices of data impressed me; my favorite demonstration was entitled "Earth's Topography" and created a three-dimensional globe, complete with color-coded elevation information. The conciseness of the code and the complicated final product, produced from just a few inputs, amazed me, and this demonstration along with several others convinced me of the utility of a matrix-based program.
