History
I was born in Kunming China, and I moved to Halifax Canada when I was 2. I lived in Canada for a year before moving to Florida. I attended Eagle Ridge Elementary School, Coral Springs Middle School, and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, and am currently enrolled at Duke University in North Carolina.
Hobbies
I have a High School Diploma for Piano Performance awarded by the Piano Guild--a subsection of the American College of Musicians. I also enjoy doodling and drawing, though I am less than stellar at painting. I have joined the Duke Badminton team and plan on trying out for Duke Swing.

Favorite Demonstration
My favorite demonstration was the 3-D Drawing Demonstration where the user would select a lattice of points to be rotated around a center line to create a 3-D surface. This demonstration was interesting because it related to my High School Calculus classes where students had to compute the area of such surfaces when given a function and an axis of rotation. At times, it could be difficult to visualize the resulting shape, but with this Matlab program, there is no longer such an issue. Plus, the demonstration reminded me of pottery and ceramics; that which tradesmen do with clay and skill Matlab can do virtually in a fraction of a second.
