Out of all of the MATLAB demonstrations my favorite one is the 3-D Plots demonstration. Even though I can't quite understand the code for a 3D plot yet, I appreciate how relatively short the code is for such a complex operation as generating a computer model of a 3D plot. The intricacies of the plot as well as the beautiful colors which it is displayed with add to the impressive nature of MATLAB.
