About Me
I am a freshman thinking about majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. I am orignally from South Korea, and I am a Korean citizen, but I went to a junior high and a high school in California. I love listening to music, watching sports, singing, and playing soccer.
Name Pronunciation
My Korean name is Kim, Min Chul without a middle name, but you can go by Mitchell, because it is my English name and I prefer it to Min Chul.
Current Courses
For the current 2014 Fall semester, I am taking EGR103, ECON101, AMES89S, and MUSIC161S. I am considering in either double majoring in ECE and and Economics, or minoring in Economics, and that is why I am taking ECON 101 this semester.
Current Groups and Extracurricular Activities
I am a member of a Christian Acappella group named "Something Borrowed, Something Blue," so called "SBSB." I am also a part of Club Novice Crew team this year, and a Korean intramural soccer team called "Hoon-Nams," which means 'fancy guys' in Korean.

Favorite MATLAB Demo
After looking through the demos in MATLAB, I thought the 3-D Graph was the most interesting and intriguing one. It was pretty amazing to find out that various three dimensional lines with different shapes and colors consisted of only a few lines of codes. I will be studying three dimensional graphs soon in Multivariable Calculus, and I think it would be very useful to use MATLAB to check many different kinds of 3-D graphs and have fun with them.
