About Laura Muñoz
I was born in Cali, Colombia, but at the age of two I moved to the island of Puerto Rico. I graduated in 2017 from the Colegio Puertorriqueño de Niñas, an all-girls school in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Although my entire family is from Colombia, I believe that there is a part of me that could be considered Puerto Rican. I am currently an undergraduate engineering student at Duke University. I will most probably major in Mechanical Engineering, but I am still not entirely sure. I hope to find this out in these next four years. I must.

Favorite MATLAB Demonstration
My favorite demonstration was "Viewing a Penny". I loved seeing the changes in its color through the small modifications of its code. Gradually, the penny became more realistic, especially when viewed in 3D. It was cool to see how a program such as MATLAB can realistically digitize something that we use and see on a daily basis, a penny.
