Homework 2

I was most interested in the Game of Life Matlab demonstration. I didn't quite understand the reason for the many blue dots on the screen, but I enjoyed interpreting them and imagining what they had to do with life. The Game of Life demonstration almost seemed like a model of how civilization spreads, with a few blue dots clustered together (as people group) and eventually spreading to become bigger (forming communities). After a period of spreading, the dots settle, just as people settle. I enjoyed seeing the random and odd things that could be done with Matlab.
