Grand Challenges for Engineering
A Blueprint for Preventing Nuclear Terrorism, Eben Harrell and Matthew Bunn, TIME, updated 30 March 2012, accessed 16 September 2013 (Prevent nuclear terror)
Favorite Demonstration
In the graphics section, the "Earth's Topography" demonstration was my favorite MATLAB demonstration. I thought it was incredible that the same program that we are currently learning could be used to generate such an amazing simulation of the earth that could be manipulated by the user. I was especially impressed that you can take data and present it in such an accessible form.
