About Me
I was born in the town of La Romana in the Dominican Republic. I graduated from Abraham Lincoln School and I am currently studying as an undergraduate in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. My favorite subject in high school was biology and that is why I have chosen BME as my intended major. I am also interested in the field of medicine and therefore, I am considering doing the pre-med track alongside my BME major. So far, I'm enjoying Duke and I am very happy to be here.

Favorite Demo
My favorite demonstration was the: Klein Bottle demonstration, which shows how to generate a Klein bottle in MatLab. Klein bottles are made when the edges of two mobius strips are 'sewn' together. They are particularly interesting because they are objects with only one side. In other words, you do not need to cross any edges to get into the other side of the shape.
