About Me
I am a freshman in the Pratt School of Engineering interested in studying Biomedical Engineering. Currently I am a SPIRE fellow at Duke and an executive member of DUKE SOCA.
Name Pronunciation
My name is pronounced just like the religion... Christian. But if you want me to break it down it's more like 2 syllables: "KRIS" + "chuhn". I also just go by Chris.
Current Courses
For the Spring 2022 semester I am taking the following courses:
- EGR 103: Computational Methods in Engineering
- Phys 151:Introductory Mechanics
- ICS 118: Science in the Modern World
- Math 218: Matrices and Vectors
Projects
- In my EGR 101 project, I was part of a 4 member team responsible for constructing an alert device which allows caretakers to keep in contact with their loved ones who have hearing loss.
- I also constructed a handwashing timer for a design sprint challenge early on in the Fall semester.
