MATLAB DEMO I found the Matlab demo "Inverses of Matrices" to be the most helpful. It can be hard to visualize what the inverse of a matrix is, and this demo used colored boxes to represent that changes that occur as a matrix is inverted. It also explains the method to check for an inverted matrix. In this way it was easy to visualize and thus understand the physical properties of an identity matrix. Before this demo, I thought of matrices only conceptually using numbers. Now I am better able to understand the visualization process.
