- I have mac and i am having trouble connecting to the Latex program to do my lab. I loaded the program X11 from my OSX disk and when i open it the screen reads: bash-3.2$, and when i try and type in the code shown on the website: "xhost +
- ssh -XY jcg24@ComputerName.oit.duke.edu" it says that xhost is not a valid command. Did I miss a step and/or what do i need to do in order to contact the Latex clusters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcg28 (talk • contribs)

What and in what order do I need to type characters in order to open up Latex? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pdavy324 (talk • contribs)
- You need to be in your lab1 directory, which is inside the EGR53 directory. Once you log in, be sure to type
cd EGR53
cd lab1
then you can run emacs, LaTeX, or okular on the file. DukeEgr93 15:41, 29 August 2008 (EDT)
