Name Calling
My name is "Yeong-ran Ahn" which is pronounced as "YOUNG Lan." Those who find pronouncing my name difficult can just call me Lucie.
About Me
I am from Korea. I lived my entire 18 years there and its my first time leaving my country for so long. It is exciting to just be here at Duke, meet different people and learn new stuff. I plan to major Biomedical Engineering (BME) but not 100% sure. Hope to get to know everyone of other students in EGR class. By the way I live in Alspaugh.
Favorite MATLAB Demos
Well. Though I do not know much about MATLAB itself, I think its usage in graphics and 3D drawing sounds awesome. I enjoy drawing, sketching, painting ... I expect 3D drawing done my MATLAB are for science lab reports rather than visual art. However, I still think MATLAB could be used as another drawing method. And I think it would be awesome if we can use computer language to deliver message and communicate with others. Oneday I want to learn graphic design perhaps using MATLAB.
