Hello! I am a freshman (big surprise) in EGR103.

About me... I have an obnoxiously long last name (Vanderschueren), I am French, and I enjoy crossword puzzles. And, on Monday mornings, I like to sit outside Twinnie's doing homework while snacking on their variety of over-sized baked goods.

This right here is the article I found from the Grand Engineering Challenges [1], Eva Kaplan-Leiserson, National Society of Professional Engineers, created March 2011, accessed 03 September 2012 (General)

Then, my favorite demo from the MATLAB help section was the demo about 3-D plotting. Even though the process is a lot to remember and lengthy, the end results were impressive and for lack of a better word, really cool. On a similar note, the topographical image section that listed the steps to achieve a view of the globe was amazing; the commands for the final product were overwhelmingly complicated compared to the much simpler commands on how to manipulate matrices earlier, though. It was almost hard to believe that a sequence of phrases could create such an image!
