About me

My name is Tae Eun Kim from South Korea and I am an freshman of Duke's Pratt School of Engineering for the Fall of 2011. I'm studying Chemistry, Math, Engineering, and Sociology. Even if I'm not sure about my major yet, I will try to take classes that i'm interested in as much as possible.

Name Pronunciation

Most of people in here have difficulty in pronouncing my name 'Tae Eun' as I don't have English name. I think 'Te En' is the closest sound in phonetic transcription. If it's hard to pronounce my full name, just call me as 'Kim'.

Favorite Demonstrations

Among the various demonstrations listed, my favorite is 3D-plots. Because this different kinds of plot help me to understand the complex equation better than when I just see the equation. Also, It was so interesting to see the various 3D graphics from the MATLAB.
