Interesting MATLAB Help Section
The sparse matrices section of MATLAB was one of my favorites simply because I've encountered data sets where the storage space started to become a problem (large data sets with tons of categorical variables encoded in one hot format), and MATLAB's implementation of sparse matrices provides a solution I didn't know about to this. Luckily I had the luxury of not having to worry too much about space efficiency, but I'm glad I know about sparse matrices for when I work with similar data sets in the future.
