Hello fellow Dukies, my name is Pranav Bajpai and I'm a freshman from India studying in Duke University. Although I'm technically enrolled in its Trinity College of Arts & Sciences, I'm taking Pratt courses my fall semester to gain more clarity concerning my academic interests.

Name Pronunciation

It's spelled Pranav Bajpai. Most Americans say "Pra-nAAv", which is technically correct, but the more authentic way to say it is by removing the emphasis on the second 'A'. Rather, you maintain the same low tone for the duration of the pronunciation, i.e., "Pru-nuv". Bajpai is a trickier one, even for Indians, but the way to say it perfectly is to:
