About Me

As of fall 2015, I am a freshman at Duke University in the Pratt School of Engineering. I have lived in Franklin, Massachusetts for my entire life. Some of my interests include playing sports, traveling, and hiking. Currently, I am playing on Duke's club ice hockey team.

Current Courses

I am enrolled in the following courses for the Fall 2015 semester:

  • Writing 101: Making Meaning of Madness
  • Math 212: Multivariable Calculus
  • EGR 103: Computational Methods in Engineering
  • Chemistry 110

Homework 1: Grand Challenges for Engineering

Carbon Sequestration

Carbon Sequestration, United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service, updated May 14, 2013, accessed September 13, 2015 (Develop carbon sequestration methods)

Homework 2: MATLAB Help and Demonstrations

The Sliding Puzzle

My favorite demo was The Sliding Puzzle. I came across it while scrolling to the Traveling Salesman demo, and I recognized the image because I have played the game before, but not on a computer. This demo was my favorite because it was a fun and mentally challenging interactive demonstration. I also thought that the demo was interesting because it ran on many if-statements, while- and for-loops. Since we have recently learned about these commands in class, it was cool to see how they could be put to use.
