Diego Alejandro Zalles

A Brief Introduction

Hello, my name is Diego Zalles. I am a member of the Class of 2026 at Duke University.

I grew up in Miami, Florida and identify as a Hispanic student with a background from several Latin American countries such as Venezuela, Peru, and Bolivia. I enjoy many of the different cultural aspects from all of these countries from food, to dances, and to music. I love traveling to these places and getting to experience the cultures in which I was brought about. I also love to travel in general and have been to many different places in the US, South America, the Caribbean, and Europe. I speak both English and Spanish fluently, and I am trying to learn French.
