About Me

My name is Bernie Amaldoss. I am a student at the Pratt school of engineering and I'm planning on majoring in biomedical engineering and minoring in visual arts(focusing primarily on ceramics) with pre-medical aspirations. I hail from Chapel Hill, North Carolina and currently reside in Gilbert-Addoms. I love taking long walks on the beach, traveling, dancing in the rain and any other cliché you could possibly come up with. If you share my interests feel free to message me at ba34@duke.edu and maybe we can work something out.

Fun Quotes

"Whoever you hate will end up in your family. You don't like gays? You're gonna have a gay son. You don't like Puerto Ricans? Your daughter's gonna come home with Livin' La Vida Loca!" - Chris Rock

"Obviously chocolate, ‘cause I’m sweet, smooth, and the ladies love me. Now the question remains, what kind of chocolate am I? Do I have a gooey caramel center? Am I filled with little rice krispies? Maybe I’m white chocolate and I’m bucking all the stereotypes." - Aziz Ansari

“What day is it?"

"It's today," squeaked Piglet.

"My favorite day," said Pooh. - A.A. Milne

“Sometimes,' said Pooh, 'the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” - A.A. Milne

MatLab Demo

My favorite demo was the Loma Prieta Earthquake. It showed how to use matlab to help analyze data and involved graphical representations of data. I especially liked how it was able to make 2D and 3D plots of the data to better visualize it. This was the main reason I preferred this demonstration over the other ones.
