My name is Arthur Schweitzer and I am a prospective Electrical & Computer Engineering/Computer Science major from Fairbanks, Alaska. My name is pronounced "Ah-r-th-er" "Sh-wai-tser". A little about me: I enjoy playing soccer and am currently working hard to become a full-time member of the Duke club soccer team. I also like math and as of lately, programming as well. My goal is to one day be a software engineer. I am currently enrolled in:

Grand Challenges for Engineering:

Reverse Engineering the Brain May Accelerate Robotics Research, Stew Magnuson, NDAI's Business and Technology Magazine, updated in March 2009, accessed September 15, 2013 (Reverse-Engineer the Brain)

MATLAB Demonstrations:

After watching the assigned demonstrations as well as a few other interesting ones that weren't assigned, I found that the Graphs and Matrices demonstration within the Mathematics section was the most insightful. It provided information on the relationship between matrices and their respective plots. Since we are currently learning about matrices, I found it useful to learn about what the graphs of these matrices look like and represent. Though the plots are more complex than those we have been working with, I look forward to using the code mentioned in the demonstration, in the near future.
