Anna Knight's Pratt Pundit Page!

Interests:

BME ( does it count as an interest if it's your intended major?)

Chinese (Mandarin- and hoping to minor if not major at duke)

Cello

Spontaneous Dance Parties

Watching bad tv instead of doing my EGR labs (oops- sorry Dr. G!)

Name Pronunciation: I'm sure you've met an Anna before, right? If not: I prefer An-na not Ahn-na (I'm not Spanish or anything), but I'm not too picky. Last name is pronounced like those guys in shining armor and ride around on horses (or say "Ni"- depending on what movie we're in).

Homework 1 Research:

Grand Engineering Challenge: Reverse Engineering the Brain.

A similar article on the same experiment (secondary article vs. primary) is:

Homework 2 Research:

My personal favorite demonstration was the penny topography demonstration. I was literally fidgeting and playing with a penny while I went through it, and it was for some reason shocking that a penny actually had measurable and noted topography. (One of those things where if you thought it about it you would have always known/put two and two together, but you've never actually associated). On top of that, I thought the Four Linked Tori is absolutely gorgeous and I wanted to stay and learn about it.
