Grand Challenges Article

Check out this article below concerning one of the grand challenges (making solar energy more economical):

Producing Solar Energy Materials That Are Affordable, Efficient and Flexible, National Science Foundation, updated 21 February 2013, accessed 13 September 2015 (Making Solar Energy More Economical)

Favorite MATLAB Demonstration

My favorite MATLAB demonstration was actually the 2-D plots tutorial. The reason for this is that, believe it or not, the tutorial actually came in handy. I actually had forgotten how to construct graphs and the proper syntax for plotting. I didn't know that you could create a "x" matrix variable and then use this variable to get repeated values for a "y" variable that is defined by an equation utilizing "x". Viewing the tutorial allowed me to refresh my memory about information that I learned in lecture.
