About me:
My name is Tyler Hobbs and I am in Bassett. I am a Pratt BME / Pre-Med student. That's it for now.

Name Pronunciation:
My name is fairly easy to pronounce. Ty-ler. Let's do it again, shall we? Ty-ler. The stress goes on the first syllable so it sounds like 'tie-lir.' My last name sounds like 'Hobbes,' (like from the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes), but is spelled very differently. Delete the 'e'. So that's it. 'Hobbs' is pronounced 'Hobbs'.
Wow, that was fun! =]
MATLAB Demonstrations
I personally liked the Traveling Salesman Demo. It calculates the shortest distance between every city to which you travel. Based on how many cities you told the program to compute, MATLAB will calculate the shortest distance (not on roads) that you could travel to get to every place as quickly as possible. This program just demonstrates the wide variety of uses for which MATLAB can be used. Isn't MATLAB just exciting!!
