My favorite Demo of the Matlab Demos was the Loma Prieta Earthquake demonstration. I found this demo very interesting because I live right near the epicenter of that earthquake, so it was cool to see how Matlab was able to use data about the earthquake to give a better visual understanding of it. I also find earthquakes pretty interesting, so this demo was very engaging for me.
