About Me

My name is exceptionally tricky to pronounce: "JESS-ee WILL-son." My friends call me "WILSON," which is pronounced "WIIILLLSONNNN!" as if you are Tom Hanks yelling at a ripped, bloody volleyball floating out to sea.

My interests include horses and blacksmithing. If I could be a plant and an animal, I'd be a pineapple/marmoset.

Grand Challenges

One article I found interesting: Survivability Doubled Since Vietnam, Elizabeth M. Lorge, Army News Service, updated 14 August 2008, accessed 22 September 2011 (Engineering Better Medicines)

Favorite MATLAB Demo

They are all fascinating, but I particularly enjoyed the demo about anonymous functions because helped me understand both anonymous functions and plotting in general a little better. It also helped me make a small breakthrough in Lab 3, which was nice.
