About me
I am a freshman at Duke University planning to study Mechanical Engineering. Though I've lived the past 5 years in Boerne, Texas, I was born in Alpharetta, Georgia and much more proudly wear the title of Georgian than Texan.
Name Pronunciation
While nobody seems to have problems with my first name, it seems like nobody can ever pronounce my last name. It is not "Bear-ing-tun" (though everyone seems to think that). Instead, it is pronounced "Bear-uhn-tun." If it helps, you can say it in a British accent. That usually tends to work.
