About Me

I am graduate of Northview High School in Georgia, and am currently a Duke student, Class of 2014. I plan to double major in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering. My current extracurricular interests include playing the clarinet (I'm in Duke University's Marching Band), playing tennis, reading popular books, watching movies, and learning to program.

Name Pronunciation

It's more or less the way it is spelled, for both my first and last name: Prithvi = "PRITH-vee" and Prabahar = "PRA-buh-har"

Grand Challenges for Engineering Article

Here is an article I found pertaining to one of the Grand Challenges: A New Dawn for Solar Energy, Stuart Fox, Popular Science, created 01 August 2008, accessed 21 September 2010 (Making Solar Energy Economical)

Favorite MATLAB Demo

My favorite demo from the list is John Conway's Game of Life because I have encountered before in a different programming language. However, I did not know MATLAB could also do it simply because I had not know MATLAB's full capabilities. Additionally, the concept of the Game of Life intrigues me because if a certain block is given certain restrictions on how to move, a pattern will develop and creating images that move across the board.
