My name is Amie Masemore, and I am a first year student in attendance at Duke University. I plan to major in biomedical engineering, and am eager to pursue a career in medicine.

Name Pronunciation:

The pronunciation of my name is "uh-me" and/or "ah-me", which is the same pronunciation used for how one would say "friend" in French.

Courses:

In the 2023 Fall Semester, I am taking the following courses: -EGR 103: Computational Methods in Engineering -EGR 101 -Calculus -Chemistry

Interests: I enjoy the outdoors and being physically active. My favorite activities to do include hiking, trail walking, weight-lifting, and playing a variety of sports. I played competitive tennis all throughout my juniors. It has become a great release for me during school.
