Is Access to Clean Water a Human Right?, Scientific American, created 6 April 2011, accessed 31 August 2014 (Grand Challenge)
MATLAB Demonstrations
My favorite MATLAB demonstration is the one that modeled the Loma Prieta Earthquake. This example shows the practicality of MATLAB in modeling real-world applications and events. Using MATLAB in these situations is what makes learning MATLAB interesting.
