1. About Me: My name is Alex Rice, I'm from Houston, Tx, and I'm a first year undergraduate student at Duke. I'm currently in Trinity, but I realized midway through my second semester of senior year that I should be an engineer. So, I plan to transfer into Pratt and become an ECE major or maybe even BME if I feel up to the task. 2. Name Pronunciation: My name isn't really a trick question. In fact, I've found it to be so simple over the years that I don't really know how to spell my name phonetically. Anyways, I'll give it a shot: a(short a sound)-lecks ri(long i sound)ce. Simply put, pronounce my last name like the food. And try to come up with a new pun on it for me. 3. Current Courses: Following along with Dr. G's example, I guess I'll tell you guys what classes I'm currently in. Right now I'm in EGR103, Math 216 (Linear Algebra/Diff Eq.), Bio 201 (Molecular Biology), and a music seminar. All seem to be pretty good classes so far. 4. Favorite Things: I can't make my Pundit page too bland, so I'm permitting everyone a chance to see what gets my juices flowing every day: -McDonald's One Dollar Menu -Netflix -Silly Putty -Pillows -Shooters -I lied about the above entry^ 5.
