California's solar energy passes a milestone, Mark Glover, The Sacramento Bee, Friday September 7th, accessed Sunday September 9th (Make solar energy economical)

Matlab Demos Of the demos, my favorite was actually the 3D-Visualizations demo called "Klein Bottle" - trying to understand the surface as non-intersecting is extremely difficult, because you have to mentally visualize the slide along the fourth dimension needed to create the bottle. Since it is impossible to model on a computer screen a four-dimensional surface, the three-dimensional representation is the best tool available. However, using the 3D visualizations (in the demo, three are used: A whole bottle, half of the bottle, and a transparent bottle) helps to understand what each of the parameters do and helps to understand the surface itself.
