About Me
My name is Maggie Lin and I hail from Oakton, Virginia, which is a part of the suburbs of our nation's capital. I am a first year at Duke University, and while I am not completely certain yet, I currently plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering in the Pratt School of Engineering along a pre-med track.
I especially love indie music and concerts, nature and street photography, traveling to the far ends of the world, reading classic novels, writing poetry and short stories, and snowboarding in the winter. I'm not sure what I want to do after college, but my bucket list includes obtaining a pilot's license, backpacking through Europe, living in Germany, and being involved in either Engineers Without Borders or Doctors Without Borders.

MATLAB Demo
My favorite demo is about the 3-D Surface Plots because it makes it much easier to visualize 3-D shapes. The colors, shading, axis, and plot type can all be changed around to fit the needs of a problem or idea. It is also possible to alter the perspective of the model by rotation, which allows for us to fully see what a model looks like in its entirety.
