About Me

I've lived in Michigan my whole life (until going to Duke) and I want to be a biomedical engineer.

Classes

This semester I'm taking:

  • Math 111
  • Chem 101
  • EGR 103
  • Psych 254

Name Pronunciation

My name is Michelle Mueller and is pronounced like "mih-SHELL MYOO-ler." My last name rhymes with Ferris Bueller.

Grand Challenges for Engineering

This article explains how advancements in science and engineering may soon lead to the ability to reverse-engineer the human brain.

MATLAB Demonstrations

My favorite MATLAB demonstration is the Loma Prieta Earthquake mathematics demo. It shows how MATLAB can be used to analyze real data in many different ways, including several types of 2-D and 3-D graphs. Even though most of the codes in this demo are too advanced for me to completely understand yet, it showed me that MATLAB can actually be very useful in real-life situations and made me interested in learning how to do more advanced programming.
