About Me

HI everyone who is reading my page. I am a freshman student in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University, potentially majoring in biomedical engineering and electrical and computer engineering. I come from China but spent the last fours years of my life in Singapore. I love EGR 103!

Interests and Hobbies

I like watching movies and doing sports such as tennis and badminton. I also listen to a lot of music.

Name Pronunciation

My first name Aohui is a bit tricky to pronounce because it is in pinyin. The (almost) correct way to pronounce it is "Owl Hway".

Favorite MATLAB Demo Video

Lomo Prieta Earthquake

I studied Geography in high school and earthquake was one of the bigger topics. This demo details the process of analyzing, visualizing, and interpreting an earthquake using MATLAB. I like the idea of how math and engineering tools can be utilized to analyze real-world problems, so that a deeper understanding of this underground activity can be achieved.
