Intro
Hello! Welcome to the Combat Robotics Safety Page. Included here is all the relevant safety knowledge necessary to keep you safe and the Foundry in one piece. The page is still a work in process so some sections may be missing or unfinished. If you have any suggestions or requests, contact the current Club Safety Officer:Cody Andres Alessio-Bunnell.
General Info
Combat Robot Specifications
To compete in the intra-school and outside ant-weight competitions, your robot must meet the following criteria:
- Weigh less than 1 lb (16 oz)--Duh
- Have an easily accessible "switch" that can accessed without taking the robot apart in the event an emergency
- Have its lithium ion battery enclosed within the robot (aka we shouldn't be able to see it!)
- Demonstrate control over the robot and its functions and show it stops when disconnected from the controller
