About Me

I am from a small town 30 minutes outside of Cleveland, OH called Chagrin Falls. I have been an avid Cleveland sports fan for as long as I can remember, with my favorite team being the Cleveland Indians. I also love being active, whether it is training at the gym, playing pick-up basketball, or a walking a leisurely round of golf. Currently, I plan on pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering although I am not fully decided as to what major I want to pursue within Pratt.

Name Pronunciation

My name is Daniel Berlin (pronounced Dan-yul and then the city in Germany). Things (annoyingly) associated with my name are the phrase "Damnnnnnnnn Daniel!" as well as recurring inquiries to see if I am from Germany.

Matlab Demonstrations

The Loma Prieta Earthquake demonstration was my favorite, as I have family members who live along the San Andreas fault in California. It was intriguing to see how Matlab can incorporate data from real-life instruments and use it to model numerous graphs and visualizations that help researchers understand this natural phenomenon.
