I am an undergraduate student in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. I plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering, but the path isn't nearly set in stone yet.

Name Pronunciation

First name , Shane, is simple enough, but my last name, Beyer, is pronounced "buy-er".

Interests

Outside of school, I love playing several sports competitively like soccer and basketball. I'm a huge music fan and enjoy almost all genres including hip-hop, alternative, rock, metal, pop, reggae, EDM, jazz, and R&B. I play the piano and like to produce music using computer software in my free time as well.

Matlab Demo

My favorite Matlab demo in this help section was the Matrices in MATLAB Environment section. The demos on matrix multiplication and vector products definitely aided in refreshing my brain on basic properties of matrices that will surely need to be sharp when engaging in more difficult tasks in Matlab in the future.
