Matlab Demonstrations My favorite of the Matlab demonstrations is the Earth's topography demonstrations. I thought it was very interesting to see how Matlab could be use to create something more than just lines and graphs. It interesting to see how equations and code could make an outline map, then a colored map, and then even a globe.
