About Me

I am currently a first-year undergraduate student in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. I graduated from Staples High School in Westport, Connecticut, where I was born and raised. My interests include drumming, hiking, travel, classic rock, and service.

Homework 1: Grand Challenges for Engineering

US intelligence group wants to reverse-engineer human brain algorithms, Michael Cooney, Network World, updated 23 January 2015, accessed 24 August 2015 (Reverse-Engineer the Brain).

Homework 2: MATLAB Tutorials

I particularly enjoyed the included Game of Life app, as it is a topic I have some familiarity with from my high school science research class. The code is extremely short, though that makes sense seeing as the point of the game is to watch complexity (self-relicating structures with organized translational movement) evolve from an extremely basic set of rules.
