My name is Xavier de Gunten. I'm a freshman at Duke and I plan to double major in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science.

I've seen my name pronounced and spelled in many different ways. In english, my name would be pronounced "Eggs-AY-v-er de GUN-ten". In spanish, it would be pronounced "Ha-V-er de GOON-ten".

I found this really awesome article on reverse engineering the brain of a fruit fly.
