About Me
I am student from Vietnam. I am currently a freshman at Duke University, pursuing a major in Engineering.
Name Pronunciation
My parents pronounce my name as "ant" without the "t". In Vietnamese, my name means safe so the pronunciation of the word is also very light.
Current Courses
For the Fall 2021 semester I am taking 4 courses, all of which are very standard for an engineering student at Duke University.
Free time
During free time, I often go swimming, reading books, listen to music and watch K-drama or C-drama.
Grand Challenges for Engineering Articles
This is an article related to Engineer Better Medicines, one of the challenges in the Grand Challenges for Engineer:
- Biomedical engineers grow cardiac patches to help people recover from heart attacks, ScienceDaily, published March 28, 2019, accessed September 30, 2021.
I found this article attractive because both my grandparents back home are suffering from cardiac illness and we have always wished that there would be some method reducing the fatal effect of heart attacks.
