About Me

Hello, I'm Camila, Camila Cordero! But many people here at Duke call me Kyami (key-ah-mi) thanks to my gaming 'reputation'. I am a current freshman in Duke University, in the school of Pratt, currently studying Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Pre-Dental. I am also your not-so-average 5'1" hispanic female from Miami, Florida, craving to return back to the 90+ degree heat and see my pet cockatiel once again.

Hobbies

• Despite being from such a tropical state, I used to be a professional Figure Skater for most of my school years, and like to hit the ice for fun whenever I can.
• As mentioned before, I also like to play video games on my spare time, like League of Legends, Mario Kart, or Pokemon.
• I like to draw when I have my random moments of inspiration or in need of de-stressing myself. Here are some pieces I've made:

• It comes to no surprise I also like to watch anime and listen to K-Pop, but don't fear, I also like to watch comedy movies, my favorite being Rush Hour, and listen to Michael Buble and Frank Sinatra.
• I think my favorite thing to do at Duke is to do late night runs to West Campus. Living on East, in Trinity, every now and then I have the urge to take a late bus (or even a van with how late it could be) and go with a couple of friends to see the beauty of West campus at night. With how quiet it is, I feel a sense of freedom walking around, wether it be us going to McDonalds or to turn in our CHEM101 Lab Reports. It's an odd 'hobby', but is something I would gladly do when I can!

Things I've Done at Duke

I thought this would be a fun category to do! Here is a list of things I've already done here at Duke, despite this only being the 6th week of school! It just goes to show that my life is pretty chaotic, but I enjoy it nonetheless:

• I've gone to West after 12 am
• I've gone to sleep at 6 am
• I've gone to a Duke football, women's volleyball, and men's soccer game
• I already did my first midterm at Duke!
• I met Nugget and the puppies in the puppy Kindergarten
