Favorite demonstration
My favorite demonstration is Loma Prieta Earthquake. Because it shows how to apply Matlab to real life situation. It demonstrates the power of Matlab--it can analyse a given database in various ways and directly give us the result by plotting. Each way of the analysis brings us a different perspective of looking at the problem and helps improve the efficiency of solving it.
